Nutrient the Food Pyramid – Optimal Healthy Guideline.
The food pyramid has been used for decades to prove what kind of people (and how) of each food pyramid you eat each day for optimal health. Renew in 2005, the new food pyramid sports of all colors, vertical stripes represent the five major food pyramid groups plus oils and fats.
Not sure what the position of the color? Here is a quick reference:
Orange – grains.
Green – vegetables.
Red – fruits.
Yellow – fats and oils.
Blue – milk and dairy products.
Purple – meat, beans, nuts and fish .
The food pyramid is used to illustrate a variety of food pyramid that people want to eat to stay healthy. Calcium strengthens bones and teeth strong and should be consumed each day. Children need aminimum of 1-2 cups milk (0r other foods rich in calcium) every day, while adults (especially women) devraient consume more than 3 cups of milk per day.
Meat, beans, fish and nuts:
All iron and other nutrients you need to eat to stay healthy 3-5 grams per day (for children) and 5.8 ounces (for adults).

Grains:
